Editors’ Picks: Splash around with water-resistant footwear

Brave the rains with stylish shoes that won’t leave you all wet

Sperry Seven Seas (Glorietta 3, Ayala Center, Makati; 843-4917)

Living in the Philippines means learning to deal with moody weather. Add the fact that it’s the rainy season and that the other fact that climate change is over (yes, it’s real) and the chances for a sudden downpour are always high. This makes what you wear on your feet an even consideration as you don’t a shoe rack full of ruined pairs. While wearing pumps and suede are impractical, you don’t have to forego your fashion sense entirely. Here are some suggestions that will help you through a water-logged day.
