Playlist: Bring It On

45 songs that can get you hyped and ready for anything on game day

There’s quite nothing like competition to get your primal instincts out. That desire to crush your “enemy” is innate, whether it’s an inter-office badminton tournament, tennis socials at the courts, or an important match-up between fierce rivals. (Speaking of which, holler if you’re watching Ateneo-La Salle on Sunday!)

A lot of athletes—from the pros to  have a pre-game ritual, and that usually includes music to set the mood. And that mood, that running dialogue is: Give up now because I’m about to tear you a new one. These tracks here—through empowering lyrics or heart-pumping beats—are a shot in the arm to get your game face on.

Playlist: Never Gonna Leave This Bed

Songs that fit just right for your lazy days

Picture this: sunlit sheets with the AC on max—the perfect setting for a lazy afternoon in. Unfortunately, slow days are hard to come by in a place as busy as Manila. Every day we’re forced to deal with horrendous traffic, skyrocketing expenses, and full schedules. So, when the rare opportunity to take it easy rolls around, you jump at it and spoil yourself silly. Set the tone for your own slowdown session with a pair of earphones and this playlist loaded with good vibes.

Playlist: Look what you made us do

Here are some angry anthems that actually deserve your attention.

After multiple in-office and online debates regarding Taylor Swift’s latest single—a flop in my opinion, sorry—we decided to put together a playlist of songs we like listening to when we’re mad. These songs showcase just the right mix of spite and sincerity without sacrificing beat and musicality.Sit back, slip your headphones on, and enjoy toying with your own feelings and being consumed by rage!
