Agricultural entrepreneurs showcase their specialties this weekend

Support and discover more of our local food at the 5th Philippine Harvest.

Our country’s rich agricultural diversity is on this display as Central Square in Taguig hosts the 5th Philippine Harvest. Here, over 40 exhibitors will showcase their wares including: seafood from the Artisan Filipino Fishers of Balangay’s Best; multi-flavored baked organic oyster mushrooms from JA Less Farms, a healthy alternative to chicharon;bottled sinaing na tulingan by Kusina Batangueña; craft spirits from the oldest distillery in the country, Destileria Limtuaco.

Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel F. Piñol shares that these kinds of engagements show the support of the Department to Filipino entrepreneurs. Apart from the local food exhibited, the event is also an opportunity for harvest to share their stories to customers and possible investors.

THE 5TH PHILIPPINE HARVEST will be AT THE LOWER GROUND AND UPPER GROUND FLOORS OF CENTRAL SQUARE FROM JUNE 16 TO 18, 2017. THIS EVENT IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (DA) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SSI GROUP INC. AND CENTRAL SQUARE.
