This Furniture Line Can See The Future

Digging deep with Altum’s custom-made home decor.

It’s no secret that the desire to create with the future in mind has been the key to most modern day innovations. Just picture a world wherein our beloved Magic 8 ball hadn’t been invented—how the hell would we predict any of our futures then? Driven by this same desire to look forward, Carlo Delantar, Aila Asistores, and Jenica Dizon joined forces to create Altum: a design space dedicated to creating custom-made home pieces in the most innovative ways possible.

Together the group of designers conceptualizes, prototypes, and brings to life any concept that their clientele can think of; everything from lighting to home accessories to furniture.

altum-2The name Altum is itself derived from the phrase Provehito in Altum (meaning “launch for the deep”), and true to its name, the brand prioritizes the depth of character in each of their finished pieces. They commit to each commissioned project from start to finish, no matter the cost. And as if tailoring each work to their client’s often out of the box needs wasn’t enough, each design is 100% handmade in the Philippines.

altum-3So what’s next for a brand that already counts some of the top retail and hospitality establishments in the country as some of their clients? While Altum plans for next year include a capsule collection and even more creative collaborations, their core focus remains the same: to simply complete the living spaces of others with their one of a kind works of art.
