What’s your biggest style regret?

We asked these five #DenimUnbound ambassadors.

denim-unbound-1Tommy Esguerra: “All my high school years since I did not know how to dress at all. I would wear the most unmatched outfits. I wore tights, really short shorts, and even golden, shiny pants! Today, I find that denim is unique. Whenever you wear a denim jacket, it stands out and you stand out, wherever you may be. Denim jackets, or anything denim really, always tells a story. It’s like you’re ready for anything.”

Erika Kristensen: “In elementary school, I would usually wear stripes with stripes. My shirt would be stripes and my pants would be stripes. It was so bad because sometimes my top would have horizontal stripes then my bottoms would have vertical stripes. Now, denim plays into my style everyday. It’s my go-to because it’s casual enough and it goes with anything. Easy!”_MG_1661denim-unbound-2Ethan Salvador: “My goth phase. We all had that, I’m sure! That look was so dark and emo with the all black, the eyeliner, scene hair, and metal rock music. But anyway, now I know better and I’ve learned that denim’s always going to be a classic thing to wear. It’s timeless and that’s what I really love about it.”

Kaila Estrada: “Wearing really tight clothes. I just realized now how uncomfortable I felt then because it made me feel like I was naked. It always shows when you’re uncomfortable but now with denim, I feel more like myself. I use denim on a daily because I’m really more of a jeans and t-shirt kind of person. I get to be comfortable and stylish at the same time when I get to play up my denim jeans, denim shorts, and denim jackets.”_MG_1789DENIM-UNBOUND-3Nico Bolzico: “How you dress tells a lot about your personality and who you are. Taking care of how you dress also means taking care of yourself. I don’t have any style regrets, but I pay more attention to my style now than before. I’m a farmer and I grew up in a farm and lived there until I was 20 years old. In the farm, I rode horses and I was always in jeans. I grew up in denim everything so whenever I wear denim, I feel like I’m going back home. Denim reminds me of my roots and where I came from.”
